In the Lead Dog Training

Norwalk, CT

I am well versed in basic obedience and behavior training. Under my guidance, you and your dog will achieve an even better relationship through classes or private sessions in socialization, obedience and/or behavior modification.

My dog training education started in 2003 when I volunteered to assist in the training of search and rescue dogs and play victim during their training sessions and drills. I have worked with volunteer organizations such as D.A.W.G.S. (Disaster and Wilderness Ground Searchers), and assisted dog and handler teams working for the state and federal government.  That time was superbly motivating and I reaped the benefit of working with talented trainers and handlers. Since then I have worked as head trainer for a large kennel, managed a daycare, trained and handled therapy dogs and volunteered with local animal shelters.  Working with hundreds of dogs and hundreds of owners over the years has been extremely satisfying work and I look forward to the next decade of dogs and their people.
